My name is Nikita Akula, and I am an * illustrator * designer * storyteller *
I grew up in Exton, PA, and am currently based in Baltimore, MD pursuing my BFA in illustration + book arts minor at the Maryland Institute College of Art.
My goal as an an artist is to empower and inspire.
My art aims to highlight the magic in the ordinary and encourage viewers to reconnect with their inner child. Through dreamscape depictions & vibrant color choices I explore abstraction and world-building through human emotions, nature, and the man-made world.
When I decide to take a break from creating, you can find me reading a good book, dancing my heart out, being silly with my friends or just laying in a sunbeam.
